Programs & resources

The bill is the emergency. This is the rest of the year.

Paying a utility keeps the lights on for a month. Knowing where the money goes keeps them on for good. Everything on this page is free, one-on-one, and open to you whether or not we have funded anything for you.

Budget & Financial Literacy Training Courses

Three short courses, in the order most people need them.

01

Personal Financial Wellness Assessment

The Financial Wellness Assessment analyzes your spending, budgeting and saving habits so you can reflect on how you are currently managing personal finances. It is a mirror, not a test.

From survival to stability

Two programs for the months that matter most.

We do not want you to just survive. We want you to thrive.

Program 01

Six-Month Financial Stability Program

For a mother facing more than one bill. We start with emergency help on what is due right now, paid directly to the landlord, utility or vendor. Then we stay with you: monthly support for up to six months, alongside mentorship, financial literacy courses and career classes, so the next emergency is smaller than the last.

Up to six months · by application

Program 02 · New

Dignity Box Program

For a mother going through a crisis or major life transition — temporarily displaced, leaving an unsafe environment, or working to regain stability. A Dignity Box brings immediate, practical support: food, clothing, household and personal care essentials, children’s necessities and selected services, tailored to the family.

How to start

There is no waiting list and no eligibility test.

Send a note saying which of these you are interested in — or just say you are not sure, which is a perfectly good place to start from. We will reply with a couple of times and take it from there.

You do not need to have applied for financial help. You do not need to be in a crisis. Several of the mothers using these sessions came to us when things were going well and they wanted to keep it that way.
